I know it's dumb, but whenever I hear about a boyfriend or husband or whatever being bad to their nice girlfriend, it makes me be nicer to Beth.

A:
Yeah, the whole situation just makes me really not like him.

So, now it's like I'm being extra nice to Beth just to show that douchebag how easy it is to be supportive and friendly to your cool girlfriend. It's not like it's hard or anything. I even took out the trash preemptively last night, just to kind of rub it in. I'm not going to actually tell him or anything, but it gave me some kind of weird satisfaction.

It's like running up the score against a team you heard saying racist stuff before the game.
