That's why I'm genuinely not worried about the music industry collapsing, or piracy driving away movies or whatever. I really think that if no new media were ever created, no new content of any kind, I have enough music, books, and videogames in my apartment at this very moment to keep my occupied until I die. And that's just the stuff I already own! I really just don't need any new stuff. There's a finite amount a person can consume in their life, but the raw amount of it just keeps growing. Stop. We don't need any more books written, or albums released or whatever. We don't even listen to the ones we have!
